Junior Product Developer

This role is responsible for supporting the on-time execution of each season from sampling through to complete handover to production.

Responsibilities 

• Translate designs into CAD drawings that accurately reflect the intended designs
• Coordinate the sending of artworks to fabric and trim suppliers for strike off, ensuring all developments are actioned accurately and efficiently
• Research and investigate new suppliers when required to maintain market edge with fabric and trim offering
• Attending sourcing appointments with Design Development
• Ordering and tracking delivery of all Runway SMS raw materials in line with Critical Path key dates.
• To manage the raw material set-up, style creation and maintenance in PLM for all Range apparel
• To provide accurate and thorough BOMs at SMS and PPS stages for handover to production
• Overseeing seasonal component library for handover to Production

• Energetic, positive and driven individual
• Minimum 3 years experience in a product development role, with experience premium / luxury apparel 
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, finishings, print and embroidery techniques
• Knowledge and understanding garment construction and pattern making
• Fashion tertiary qualification
• Advanced experience in Excel and Illustrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong understanding of garment construction and high-end finishes
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels
