AddressWe are in search of a talented individual to fill the role of Junior Product Developer for an Australian fashion designer.
This role, situated within the Ready to Wear team, involves driving the creative and technical development across three seasonal annual collections. It encompasses the responsibility of ensuring timely execution from the initial sampling phase through to the seamless handover to production.
Responsibilities:
- Creatively sourcing and developing seasonal fabrics and trims
- Contributing to seasonal Fabric and Trim meetings.
- Managing the ordering and delivery tracking of all raw materials in line with Critical Path dates.
- Handling raw material set-up, style creation, and maintenance in PLM for all apparel.
- Providing accurate and thorough BOMs at key stages for production handover.
- Overseeing the seasonal component library for Production handover.
- Ensuring excellent quality standards are met in all responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed a degree or tertiary course in Fashion with previous experience in a similar environment.
- Good knowledge of fabrics & trims and a keen interest in fashion.
- The ability to blend creative and technical skills effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with any experience in PLM or similar programs being a bonus.
- Capacity to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and methodical skills.
