Junior QA Tester

BIG, also known as Brand Influence Group are in search of a proactive and innovative individual to work as a Junior QA Tester.
  
Role Summary:
As a Junior QA Tester, you will be an integral part of our Scrum team, working alongside developers to ensure the quality and reliability of our Ruby on Rails and iOS applications. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about technology, eager to learn, and have a keen eye for detail.

Additionally, you will provide crucial support alongside our Support team managing IT-related tasks and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless functionality across our internal systems and devices.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of our Ruby on Rails and iOS applications to identify bugs and issues
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Assist in the creation and execution of test cases, and maintain detailed documentation of test results
• Participate in Daily Scrum & other ceremonies, collaborating with team members to resolve issues
• Provide feedback to developers on potential improvements and assist in troubleshooting
• Support the continuous integration and deployment processes
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) as required

Support Responsibilities:

• Assist with managing IT support tickets and emails, including escalation of issues when necessary.
• Participate in asset management tasks for mobile devices and accessories.
• Help set up laptops, tablets, and assist with data maintenance of internal systems.
• Ensure all infield devices are fully functioning and provide support during the onboarding of tools for new recruits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Some experience or strong interest in QA testing, particularly in web and mobile environments
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and iOS platforms is highly desirable
• Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus
