Junior Scale Technician

Founded in 1982 Perth Scales is a 100% family owned, Australian business. We specialise in weighing scales, labelling equipment and food equipment. Our ongoing success is down to customer service, quality products and our dedicated team. 

We require an enthusiastic individual with the ability to not only self-manage, but also work within a team environment.  You will be trained to perform service calls to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and certify weighing equipment.  

Relevant training will be provided.

• Perform duties of repairing, calibrating, and servicing weighing equipment
• Troubleshoot & calibrate scales using supplied equipment
• Document all test results and provide complete paperwork
• Programming of equipment (calibration)

• Must have a current C class (manual) drivers license
• Experience with computers including Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Be customer service focused with strong communication skills
• Ability to self manage and work autonomously
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge is an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to continuously learn
• Prompt, pleasant, positive attitude and follows instructions well
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
