POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior School Wellbeing Advisor and Teacher at Ruyton foster a positive and holistic learning environment for students. This position involves strategic leadership, curriculum development, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance student wellbeing.
Terms of Position of Responsibility (POR)
This POR is for a three-year term only, after which the School reserves the right to either reappoint or re-advertise the POR. The substantive teacher role is ongoing.
POR: Pastoral Level 2
Term: 3 years.
Allowance: This position comes with a monetary allowance.
Time: This position comes with a time allowance.
Essential Criteria
- An active commitment to girls' education, including an understanding of current theory and research relating to girls' education.
- Ability to lead a dynamic and collaborative team culture.
- Ability to develop and implement programs that extend and cater to the needs of all students.
- Use of student learning data to target teaching and review learning programs.
- Demonstrated practice of contributing positively to the student wellbeing program.
- Ability to lead change and innovation effectively within a high-performing environment.
