We deliver stroke development, stroke correction and training programs for swimmers at our Castle Hill location within Oakhill College. Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and sports minded person to undertake the role of
Junior Squad Coach. This position aims to provide an avenue for a coach or ex swimmer with coaching aspirations to join an experienced team of coaches who value mentoring and education of the next coaching and swimmer generation.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for swimmers in the development squad, focusing on technique, endurance, and race strategies.
- Conduct regular training sessions, including dryland exercises and pool workouts, to improve swimmers’ performance.
- Monitor swimmers’ progress and provide individualized feedback and goal setting.
- Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive training environment and promote team spirit.
- Communicate effectively with parents and swimmers regarding training schedules, competitions, and performance expectations.
- Attend and support swimmers at competitions, providing coaching and encouragement during races.
