Job Description Summary We are seeking a Junior Town Planner, preferably with Telecommunications industry experience. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
About the Role
Your role will include ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local legislation, as well as additional client specific expectations. As the Town Planner, you will be responsible for exceptional record keeping for each individual site and accurate milestone tracking.
Responsibilities
- Site investigations including identification of site constraints
- Updating internal and external databases accurately
- Participate in site selection processes including due diligence assessments, undertaking feasibility reports, site selection reports and where necessary, attend site design visits
- Ensuring all legislative requirements are met prior to commencement of work
- Ensuring Industry Deployment Code compliance
- Co-ordinate stakeholder enquiries and complaints
- Preparation of Deployment Code Documentation
- Assessment of planning pathways for implementation of designs
- Preparation of correspondence to Councils, MPs and the community
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Great research skills
- Well organised and able to manage your own time priorities
- Outcome focused
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to interpret planning and other relative legislation in various states and territories
- Be willing to learn relevant Federal, State and Local legislation and regulations and industry codes as well as staying up to date with industry changes and expectations
