We have an exciting newly created position, for a motivated, driven, and proactive team player to join the team as a Junior Web Developer.

If you are passionately interested in website (Front-End) development & digital marketing and want to further your knowledge, this could be a perfect entry-level position. Alternatively, this role would be great for someone with 1-2 years of experience in the industry.
Core Duties in this role.
- Build websites across a proprietary content management system, SmartyrDXP, as per the clients design brief.
- Optimising websites for speed and search engine optimisation (eg. schema, structure, etc).
- Assist in website audits and undertake tasks to improve bugs and identify weaknesses.
- Research and keep up to date with the latest web development concepts and ideas as well as User Experience, Conversion Rate Optimisation, and Web Design principles and trends.
- General administrative duties, including answering the phone, etc.
- Any further duties allocated by the Digital Marketing Coordinator.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience or exisiting knowledge across HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Understanding of layout aesthetics.
- Familiarity with software like Visual Studio Code and content management systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Creative thinker.
- Embraces self-learning and skills development.
- Enjoys being part of a group.
- Task/Goal orientated.

- Web development certificates (or higher).
- Experience with GraphQL, SvelteJS, Git, and Tailwind.
- Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
