Form of workWe are looking for someone wanting to learn.
We will train you as an Electrical Assembly Technician, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical and wired components used in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembly of wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper assembly techniques
- Solder, crimp, and install specialised connectors
- Defining new cut-sheets for new assemblies
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; complying with company procedures and policies
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Good time management skills
- Ability to identify a wide range of colour spectrum
- Accurate measurement skills
- High attention to detail and quality
- Basic knowledge and usage of technology (tablet, computer)
Preferred skills:
- Experience in wire harness assembly is preferred but not essential (on the job training will be provided)
- Proficient with hand tools (crimpers, cutters, strippers)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strive for continuous improvement
