KBA Accountants is a mid-sized firm established in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast Est 1998. KBA Accountants are seeking a Junior/Entry Level Receptionist to join our growing team who will report into and work directly with the practice manager. We are looking for a capable employee, with excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The position is Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week (1pm-5pm) and occasional holiday cover – no weekend work.
If you are someone with strong attention to detail, confident with a positive personality, who can work collaboratively within a team to meet the required deadlines this is for you.
Role:
- Provide reception support to clients and staff from the front desk reception area
- Professional management of communications from clients & businesses
- General office administration and reception tasks; including answering phones, booking meetings, greeting clients and mail distribution
- Process Eftpos payments
- Scanning and maintaining filing systems
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and other stakeholders
- Drafting and typing letters for the accountants.
Skills & Experience:
- Well-presented, enthusiastic, and pleasant disposition
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Courteous, with high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a timely and efficient manner
- Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
- A great work ethic and a positive, friendly attitude
- Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
