Countryside Pet Resort is a small family owned boarding kennel that treats every animal as if they are our own. We are located just 10 minutes from Melbourne Airport and 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Located on 5 acres in the beautiful suburb of Yuroke, just outside of Greenvale. We look after both dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes and ages.
The Role
We are looking for like minded animal lovers to join our small team as a Kennel Attendant. The main duties of this role will be;
• General care of all boarding animals
• Cleaning of kennels to a high standard
• Feeding of animals and following food prep instructions
• Preparation of runs for incoming animals and coordinating bedding washing
• Moving of animals between kennels and exercise yards
• Assisting and greeting our clients with incoming and departing animals (pick up/drop off)
About You
• Love of animals, especially dogs and cats
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
• Attentive with high attention to detail
• Excellent customer service
• Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends (primarily Friday and Saturdays) and the
holiday/Christmas period
• Casual position available
