The Position
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, your duties will include:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Accounts and prospective customers
- Foster ongoing communication with clients to strengthen mutually beneficial outcomes
- Drive lead generation efforts and identify specific markets for sales prospects
- Maintain a comprehensive and current client database to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Employ negotiation skills to negotiate favourable sales agreements that benefit all parties involved
- Deliver technical product specifications and presentations tailored for key stakeholders such as Architects and Developers
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as directed by Management
The Candidate
The successful applicant should have experience in sales specifications and account management within the manufacturing or distribution industry, preferably within a related role, as well as the following:
- Established market presence with key contacts in architecture, design, and/or related industries
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Driven by success and achieving sales targets with a can-do spirit
- Experience using CRM software, as well as understanding and managing customer data
- Effective communicator at all levels, both internally and externally
