We are a family owned and run movement gym here in Newcastle, established in 2016, We have helped over 1000 little movers in the Hunter from our school programs, Special Workshops, Birthday Parties, Online Programs and our flagship weekly after school programs. TMC KIDS is a part of The Movement Collective, a group of passionate health & fitness professionals dedicated to sharing the joy of movement and mobility in the community. Our 45min classes are action packed with high energy including lots of games to keep it fun. Our lessons include skill work incorporating handstands, cartwheels, gymnastic rings with a focus on coordination, strength, flexibility and mobility along with elements of dance, martial arts and all of the fundamental movement skills kids need to develop into a strong, confident & capable little humans. Qualifications & experience
- Certificate 3 in Fitness or equivalent
- We pride ourselves on being a child safe organisation so all employees must have a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates or be willing to obtain them
- Experience or background in gymnastic or dance is a bonus
- Ongoing training and support provided
- Experience working with kids is a bonus
- Must have a passion for fitness and desire to learn and develop your own skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead and instruct movement classes to kids aged 4-17
- Be able to work effectively alongside other coaches and as part of a team
- Follow a program and work within set time frames
- Display a Positive and friendly attitude to all staff, students and parents
- Professional and reliable
- Available afternoons
