About the Role
As a member of our crew, you'll be engaging with children aged 6 to 14 (sometimes older) through interactive games and activities.
The role is dealing with Kids & School’s making it more hands-on and interactive, getting the kids involved with Games & Activities, making it fun, manage large groups of kids at Schools and private parties.
Your role will involve:
- Hosting and managing large groups of kids at schools and private parties.
- Creating a fun and energetic atmosphere with games and activities.
- Setting up and operating AV and DJ audio equipment.
What We're Looking For
We want individuals who:
- Love music and have awesome disco moves.
- Know popular music that kids love to dance to.
- Can relate well to children aged 6 to 14.
- Have exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Are available to work outside of business hours (Thursday – Sunday) and on public holidays and can work often during the evening.
- Are willing to learn how to set up AV and DJ audio equipment.
- Can handle sound and lighting equipment, which may be heavy at times.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Have a current Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
- Have an Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle that can transport sound and lighting equipment.
Other import things to note:
- This is a casual position with seasonal and on-demand work. While we receive many enquiries, work availability may vary.
- Our Disco Parties typically are between 4pm - 9pm, but this varies.
- Our business is fully registered with Public Liability and Insurance.
- We offer competitive pay rates with a minimum of 3 hours per party.
- We provide paid training on how to host structured kids' parties and use our mobile disco equipment.
- Travel expenses are covered for distances over 50 km.
- If successful, you'll be working at School Disco's around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and/or Gold Coast, along with other private parties at peoples home, or halls, venues etc.
- You'll be paid to party and have fun with kids!
