We are now recruiting a Kindergym Leader to join the team on a Full-Time basis in a at our YMCA Stafford Gymnastics!
About the Work Space:
YMCA Stafford Gymnastics has been part of the Brisbane community for over 40 years offering fun-filled classes for children covering all types of classes including KinderGym, Traditional Gymnastics (Steps), Competitive Gymnastics, Tumbling, Ninja Gymnastics, Adult Gymnastics, Special Needs Gymnastics and casual Gym Play classes
The Stafford Gymnastics Centre offers classes for children from crawling age through to 13 years, youth classes from 14 years up, and adult classes. Our Gymnastics Australia-accredited instructors love seeing students develop their movement skills while they build determination and discipline
The Role
YMCA Kinder Gym is a physical and social development program for children aged from walking to 5 yrs., based on gymnastics skills and apparatus. Kinder gym kids learn to be stronger in body (motor skills, strength and coordination), mind (creativity, cognitive development and problem solving) and spirit (social development and confidence). The KinderGym Leader role is a casual position.
You will also need to be able to meet the following key selection criteria:
- A positive and enthusiastic disposition;
- Kinder gym qualifications, First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain these;
- Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail;
- Experience working in a similar role.
