About the role:
Join our locally reputable team that offers a creative, fast-paced and nurturing environment. The role of sales consultant/kitchen designer is responsible for selling, quoting and designing kitchens and bespoke joinery focusing on customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets to achieve company goals. This role will encourage you to tap into your creativity to solve functional design problems as well as maintain professional and personable relationships with customers and peers. This is an office-based role with attention on our builder segment with occasional on-site quoting for private market where needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce high quality, detailed renders and elevations to solve functionality and aesthetic problems and effectively utilise time-management skills.
- Provide assistance in showroom including colour consults, quotations, drawing, managing bookings and answering enquiries.
- Presenting proposed designs and quotations to customer, suppliers and colleagues through honest communication.
- Adapting effectively to changes in workload depending on industry busy periods by using multi-tasking abilities.
- Effectively prioritise bookings and tasks by utilising experience of Outlook calendar.
- Provide support to other departments and team mates to ensure end-to-end project management.
- Showing empathy and understanding to customer wants and need through active listening skills and continuous communication
- Perform effectively to meet monthly sales targets set and participate in monthly sales target reviews.
About you:
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and design.
- High-level time-management skills and being able to oversee multiple jobs at once.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite applications.
- Knowledge of related products, materials and industry.
- Must have licence.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Interior Design or Kitchen Design or at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role or industry is desirable.
