We are looking for a Part-Time and Casual Kitchen Hands to join our Support Services team. We are looking for people who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 96-bed facility in Maryborough.
Reporting to the Support Services Supervisor, the support services staff will play a pivotal role in delivering essential services at the highest quality and to tailored to the needs of each and every resident.

What you will do
- Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
- Distribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Dining room services
- Providing excellent personalised service to our residents
- Ensure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling Standards
- Ensure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organisation.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment.
- Completion of documentation
- Trade certification or qualifications and experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold and maintain a Police Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Must have COVID19 vaccination
- Must hold full rights to work within Australia
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
- Contract Type: Permanent Part Time or Casual Contract
- Hours: Minimum 20 hours per fortnight for Part Time.
- Salary Range: Base rate of $24.65 per hour (Depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation + NFP salary packaging + allowances
