Role Overview: As the Kitchen Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Kitchen Production. You will ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency whilst innovating and leading our large-scale operations, as we continue to grow. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in large-scale food production and management. You will be data-driven and focused on achieving structured KPIs.
We operate Monday-Friday. No weekend or late nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all Kitchen Production operations, ensuring high-quality and efficient output.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Monitor and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement and achieve KPIs.
- Create, lead and evaluate technology based operating systems efficiently. Including but not limited to; Excel, Google package, Nutrition Software, Website backend coding, CRM software and more.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining the highest standards.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Implement and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to streamline production processes.
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance sustainability.
- Collaborate with other departments to support new product development and launches.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a large-scale food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Data-driven with the ability to analyse and interpret production data.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for plant-based, organic, and sustainable food.
