Reporting to the Kitchen & Environment Manager, the Steward Duty Manager will form part of the Kitchen Brigade and play an important role in supporting the Culinary team at Optus Stadium.
This role requires experience in the following:
- Cleaning of commercial kitchens or similar environments of food production
- Experience maintaining HACCP records
- A strong emphasis on safety
- A culture champion who combines good team spirit with hard work.
- Experience leading teams of 5 - 10 people
Responsibilities will include:
- Training and developing our Kitchen Steward team
- Motivating the team to achieve our standards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of our Premium Product and Retail kitchens
- Inspecting equipment for cleanliness

Weekend availability is essential. The nature of this role means that you will be required to work on both event and non-event days at Optus Stadium, which means plenty of weekends and evenings – but that’s when the fun happens.
