About the Role
As our Event Coordinator, you are the glue that holds everything together and makes magic happen for our customers.
You are the first port of call for customers, helping make their vision a reality with a personalised approach to every event. To make this happen seamlessly you also assist the wider Festoon team with planning and coordinating events – liaising with venues, stylists and couples to determine what will work the best for their space, budget and style.
This is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in event management within a fast growing and energetic team.
Daily tasks include:
- Own the planning, coordination and execution of events across Australia.
- Collaborate with clients, stylists and venues to tailor unique lighting designs.
- Manage logistics with a detail-oriented mindset, ensuring every light shines on cue and within budget.
- Foster relationships with partners, making sure we are delivering to expectations and expanding our network with new opportunities.
- Be the point of contact for clients, ensuring their journey is as smooth as the soft glow of our lights.
About You
You’re no dimly lit wallflower…you’re a go-getter!

We don’t need you to have hit the peak of your career yet. We just need you to have:
- Some events experience – you understand the basics.
- Some customer service experience – you know how to engage over the phone and on email.
- Exposure to excel and the usual Office 365 suite.
- Some customer database or CRM experience (ideal, but not mandatory).
- You are comfortable with change, take initiative to expand your role and continuously improve your contribution to the business.
