Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen areas and equipment are clean, tidy and compliant with all chemical handling, HACCP and WHS requirements
- Supervise all Kitchen Stewards ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and to the standards expected
- Train and develop the Kitchen Stewarding team ensuring standards are upheld
- Regular inspections of all kitchen areas and equipment
- Assist senior chefs on duty with any cleaning requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Supervisory role in a large hotel
- Experience managing, training and developing team members
- Experience maintaining HACCP and WHS standards and requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of hotel operations desirable
- The ability to handle pressure, multi task and get the job done
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation
- Ability to work across a 7-day per week roster
About the Role
We are seeking 2 x Stewarding Supervisors to lead and support our Stewarding team in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment across multiple outlets. The positions will be full-time and report to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chefs, while supporting Chefs throughout all kitchen outlets.
The successful candidate will have a passion for cleaning and delivering high-quality services to ensure our Chefs have clean working environments to provide the experiences to our guests. You will have excellent communications skills and be a team player who works well with others in leading by example from the front with a positive outlook.
