About the role

Catholic Homes is seeking a Kitchen Support Worker, to join the team at our Archbishop Goody residence located in East Perth. This is a part-time position working a minimum of 46 hours per fortnight. Required shifts include Tuesdays and Wednesdays AM and Saturday and Sunday PM.

Archbishop Goody is a small residence where our staff love its homely and family feel. It is located next to parklands and convenient public transport making it easy for staff to get to work.

To be successful in this role you will have/be: 

  • Previous Kitchen Hand experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
  • Availability to work morning shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and afternoon shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulation and competencies in food safety skills.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work.
  • Passion and dedication for working with the elderly.
  • Experience in Aged Care (desirable).
