Respect is known for the great care we provide to our residents and the supportive and respectful working environment for our employees.The Positions:We are seeking 2 Kitchen Hands to join our team at our Woodhaven aged care home, located at 55A Hebden St LOCKHART NSW 2656Each candidate will be engaged on a full-time basis (38 hours per week); however, we would consider part-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week) if that were the candidate's preference.The proposed commencement date for each successful candidate would be approximately July / August 2024.The successful candidates will join our dynamic Team. Reporting to the Chef, you will be responsible for the Efficient and Effective operation of the Kitchen Department.Key duties and responsibilities include.*Action Cleaning Duties within the Kitchen, Food Preparation Area, and all eating Areas.*General Pantry Duties and Maintaining Cleanliness of Pantry, Fridges and Freezer's.*Ensure all Kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy according to the Current Health and Hygiene Regulations.*Ensure Correct Handling of Chemicals and Equipment as per Manufacturer's instructions.*Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and Promoting general WHS practices.*Handling of Disposal of Rubbish.*Help the Chef and other Staff when needed.*Meal preparation and ServiceThe successful candidates will have:
- A relevant qualification or the willingness to undertake on-the-job training.
- A genuine interest for working in aged care.

- Flexibility for shift work including nightshift and weekends.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check. Respect will assist each successful candidate to obtain the required certification.
