Position: Fixed Term 6 Months (with the possibility of an extension)
Salary: $82,000 - $88,000 depending on experience, plus superannuation and salary packaging

About the role
Step into a transformative role as the Koorie Men’s Diversion Case Manager, where you become a key architect in reshaping the paths of Aboriginal men, diverting them away from the clutches of the criminal justice system. Your impact will be profound as you take on the responsibility of delivering and orchestrating intensive case management for a select caseload of up to 8 Aboriginal men.
In this dynamic position, you'll go beyond the conventional, providing personalised case management that caters to the unique needs of each individual. Your role extends to coordinating culturally sensitive treatment, ensuring a holistic and empowering approach towards rehabilitation. As a staunch advocate, you will champion the cause of your clients, becoming their ally in navigating the complexities of the justice system.
Forge meaningful connections and collaborative networks to establish robust referral pathways, enhancing the effectiveness of the diversion process. Your strategic liaisons with justice agencies will contribute to improved justice outcomes, marking a significant shift in the lives of Aboriginal men in contact with the criminal justice system. About You
Qualifications within the Justice system are desirable.
Diploma in Community Services.
Case management experience.
You must have and continue to hold a full Victorian Driver’s Licence; a current employment Working with Children Check card and a National Police Check.
Current COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum two doses and booster shot before commencement
