As a Knife hand/ Butcher, you will be responsible for:
- Cutting, trimming, and preparing beef products according to customer specifications and industry standards
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment and equipment
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of meat products to prevent spoilage and waste
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Knife hand/ Butcher or in a similar role in the meat industry
- Knowledge of meat cuts, grades, and quality standards
- Ability to use knives, saws, and other tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy items and stand for long periods of time
