Love the outdoors? Sick of the rat-race in the city? Enjoy wildlife and nature? This opportunity may be perfect for you!
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is North Queensland’s premier wildlife-based tourist attraction. Located partway between Cairns and Port Douglas along the picturesque Cook Highway, Hartley’s welcomes guests from all over the world.
We are seeking a fit, healthy and energetic outdoorsy person for a full-time position collecting koala food for Hartley’s and Kuranda Koala Gardens. In addition to browse collection, maintenance of our four koala food tree plantations will be a significant component of the role.

Experience in such a role with strong knowledge of koala food trees species, their cultivation and the correct techniques for coppicing and harvesting to maximise yield is desirable for this position.
Work is generally conducted as part of a small team, though at times some work may be conducted alone.
A commitment to health & safety and an excellent safety record mandatory.
Roster Tuesday to Saturday inclusive.
Chainsaw ticket, current First Aid Certificate, experience using small machinery, and manual driver’s licence required.
Please submit a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and a resume with contact details for relevant referees.
