Work in a small team focussing upon KYC QA for High Risk entities
Your new company
Global Wealth Management business, which services individuals and institutions investing in both domestic and international markets, including equities, fixed income and derivative investments, financial planning and managed funds.
Your new role
The KYC Reviewer will be responsible for ensuring QA around Know Your Client (KYC) documentation throughout the client lifecycle is maintained for high risk clients to comply with the firm's global standards and local regulatory requirements.
- KYC Periodic High Risk review on various entities such as unit trusts, discretionary trusts, charities, SPVs, investment managers, SMSFs and joints.
- KYC review and remediation of high-risk client uplift and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) reviews.
- Review client's AML/CTF risk, with focus on Source of Wealth and Source of Funds.
- Review documentation provided by offshore teams and follow up on missing documentation or inconsistent information.
- Continuous engagement with the business to share KYC and AML/CTF related guidance, to improve the standard and quality of KYC and client due diligence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, Law, Accounting, Finance or other
- Experience in KYC from a corporate, institutional or private banking environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to make your own judgement and problem solve
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset
- 12 months + work rights for Australia
