The role:
We have a great opportunity for an Laboratory Assistant experienced with QA/QC who is excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. You will be based in Kalgoorlie and will be responsible to ensure that the quality of sample results from the laboratory instruments, meets and exceeds the client’s expectations.
As QC, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:
- Assessing data obtained from AAS instrumentation
- Initiating corrective actions.
- Finalising data from AAS instrumentation
- Aiding in the instrument operation when required
What’s you will bring to the role?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
- Previous experience with equipment operation is essential, while experience with data calculation and QAQC of results is highly desirable.
- Computer literacy skills, preferably with a laboratory LIMS.
- Previous experience working in a minerals laboratory is essential.
- A formal qualification in Chemistry, such as a BSc or Diploma / Certificate is beneficial
- Strong Communication and Leadership Skills.
Roster
- Rotational roster - 4 day shifts, 4 night shifts, 4 off
