Form of work• Set up, calibrate and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Conduct accurate and timely analytical testing of wine and juice.
• Produce trade samples for Sales and Marketing
• Maintain the laboratory, equipment and completing regular stock take of consumables.
• Ordering reagents and equipment for analytical purposes.
• Accurate recording of results and cross checking of results.
• Maintain QA approval system for wine additives.
• Be conversant and participate in the maintenance of HACCP.
• Participate fully in vintage/harvest work requirements.
• Maintain Interwinery Group benchmarking.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
• Have a desire to be an important member in producing high quality wine.
• Have proven experience in a wine laboratory environment.
• Be proficient in the use of modern computer interfaces.
• Have an energetic and positive approach to work.
• Be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a desire to improve current practice through accuracy and efficiency gains.
• Having a familiarity with Ezy Wine will be advantageous.
