The Responsibilities
Attention to detail, strong technical and analytical skills will be essential to succeed in this role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Management reporting
- Budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Identify and report the source of revenue and gross profit
- Identify and report to effectively control cash flow
- Accurate and timely reporting of each Business Units financial performance consistent with the established reporting timetable
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial control measures
- Involvement in adhoc projects
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the logistics industry is advantageous, not essential
