Hanson have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Team at our the Sydney Metro Laboratory in Granville and fill an important role in the testing of concrete. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is physically fit and possesses a strong work ethic.
The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the requirement of some weekend work also entailing RDO's and overtime.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Perform laboratory testing within the laboratory for concrete being supplied throughout Sydney and the greater region
- Carry out equipment calibrations
- Perform laboratory testing operations
- Ensure NATA requirements are maintained
- Assist the technical team
