Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Labourer to contribute to Council’s success.
- 9-day fortnight, promoting a healthy work-life balance
- Work outdoors throughout the Gladstone region
- Based at Gladstone Depot
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by efficiently undertaking construction and maintenance activities of civil infrastructure and undertaking a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks within the Gladstone Region.
You will bring:
- Labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.
- Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Basic keyboard skills and experience and competency using technical devices.
- Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).
This role supports the concreting crew within our Roads Program Delivery Central team. Whilst not essential, concreting experience would be advantageous.
