We have an exciting opportunity for a Trackworker to join our Cloncurry based track team, who look after the track maintenance within the Cloncurry area and beyond.

- Potential earnings of $70,000 plus 12.75% superannuation - including penalties
- 9 day fortnight (Mon-Fri, Tues-Fri) - 0600 to 1500 in Summer & 0700 to 1600 in Winter

About the role
As a Trackworker you will be responsible for performing heavy manual labour duties including replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance tasks. This position is constantly in the field so you must be able to work in challenging weather conditions and high temperatures.
In this role you will:
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
- Perform outdoor labouring duties throughout the region (including flood repair and other emergency work)
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Based within the local Cloncurry area and have the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
- Recent experience in a manual handling or physical labouring type role
- C class drivers licence
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
