Horticultural Labourer

Ventia has a long standing Parks and Roadsides contract with the Mornington Peninsula Shire and is seeking an Gardening Team Member Labourer to join our team.
The ideal candidate has had experience delivering garden maintenance across parks and reserves.
This is a full-time role paying $26.92 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver high quality gardening in parks/reserves/cemeteries across the Shire, including weeding, pruning, spraying, planting, mulching and rubbish removal
• Delivery works in line with planned programs/schedule of works
• Utilise iPad to record garden maintenance activities and communication
• Assist to investigate and resolve customer service requests
• Prepare and plant gardens as part of refurbishment program
• Use a range of horticulture equipment
• Positively contribute to a diverse, inclusive and fair work environment
• Work safely at all times adhering to our HSEQ policies and procedures

Experience and/or qualifications in the following are desirable:

• Experience or trade/tertiary qualifications in horticulture/gardening
• Manual Driver's Licence/Medium Rigid Licence
• General mechanical aptitude
