About the positions
- The Labourer position performs a broad range of tasks in a construction and/or maintenance work team.
- The base wage rate for this position is $1,107.53 gross, working a 38-hour week plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available (for example - on call, over time, asbestos allowances, wet weather).
- This is a Permanent Full-Time position based at the Principal Depot in Charlton.
- Enjoy work/life balance by participating in nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.
- Opportunity to gain Certificate III Water Industry worker for further career progression.
Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training and/or experience
- Current ‘MR’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- If not held, must be obtained within 3 months of employment, at the employee’s cost.
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- Year 10 education or a combination of experience, qualification and competence which enables the incumbent to perform all duties of the position.
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current ‘HR’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- Competency Certificate in Traffic Control, Quick Cut Saw Operation, Environmental Awareness, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights and Dogging or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
