Toll Helicopters, part of Toll Group, is one of Australia’s premier providers of specialised helicopter services. Toll Helicopters are expanding the engineering team in support of continued growth within the business. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated touring AW139 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to complement our maintenance team. You will be working on a 28 day roster.
Job Description
To be a part of the maintenance team, you will have a focus on safe execution of maintenance activities, while working to maximise aircraft availability with previous experience conducting maintenance in support of medium helicopters.
As a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning the execution of maintenance tasks ensuring that parts, Ground Support Equipment, tooling, manpower and documentation are all available and task risks reviewed prior to commencing work.
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance activities on allocated aircraft in a safe and compliant manner to ensure maximum availability.
  • Coordinating, supervising /conducting trouble shooting and rectification actions for unscheduled maintenance requirements in a safe and compliant manner to ensure minimum downtime of aircraft.
  • Carrying out aircraft ranging, husbandry and recovery duties.
  • Preparing fly away kits and conducting maintenance when in a deployed environment.
  • Focus on safe execution of maintenance activities, while maximizing aircraft availability and ensuring a safe workspace for all employees and visitors to maintenance and engineering facilities.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Completed Mechanical trade and hold current CASR Part 66 AW139 B1.3 Type rating.
  • Completed
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent. * Extensive experience with the AW139 or other medium helicopters.
  • High level of trade aptitude.
Highly Desirable:
  • Extensive industry experience.
  • Experience maintaining medium helicopters.
  • Experience in general aircraft maintenance practices.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • Self-motivated Engineer.
  • Have a flexible, team orientated approach.
  • Hold or be eligible for issue of a Defence Security Clearance.
  • Be willing to take on all aspects of base engineering support.
