Due to internal promotion, an opportunity in a Senior role that will act as a final escalation for the team resolving the complex Network & Security issues for our customers has become available.
You are responsible for the day to day management of our Managed Services customer environments including keeping the ‘lights on’ in Secure Agility’s Cloud. You will be a networking enthusiast who is energised by solving business challenges with technology.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining client Network & Security services, components and associated infrastructure.
- Ensuring Secure Agility Cloud Platform is maintained and engineered to perform at optimum levels and has adequate capacity to deliver contracted services.
- Managing the analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to Network & Security infrastructure and applications as appropriate.
- Testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning networking software/hardware to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.
- Participate on after hours on call roster (on-call and OT allowances apply)
The key skills required for this role include:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Level 3 role within an MSP/ Systems Integrator.
- Demonstrated experience with Data Center with Cisco ACI and standards based VXLAN DCs
- UC (teams and Cisco UC/WebEx) is desirable
- Fortinet and Palo skills (SDWAN/SASE)
- Experience with Campus networks based on Cisco/Juniper technology
- Demonstrated expertise in router hardware/software, switch hardware/software, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EiGRP, etc), and strong experience with QoS, and firewalls
- Experience with patching networks and devices
