Horticulturalist/Gardener
Peninsula Hot Springs is an award-winning spa and well-being destination in Fingal, on the Mornington Peninsula. The site consists of stunning gardens, including lawns, kitchen gardens, open spaces, and bushland areas, all managed to provide guests with a unique relaxation experience while also preserving the natural environment.
We are looking for an experienced horticulturalist/gardener to join our Land and Environment team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves general garden maintenance tasks such as planning, mulching, planting, pruning, weeding, harvesting, and mowing, within the bathing area, Food Bowl, and new accommodation areas. You will also have the opportunity to share your passion and knowledge of gardening and horticulture with guests and staff through a variety of educational programs.
To apply for the position, you should have previous experience in horticulture or gardening, with a particular focus on native/locally indigenous plants and/or fruit and vegetable growing. You should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent time management and organisational skills.
