Landscape Designer

We are a well-established, professional, high-end landscaping business based in Perth.  

We are looking for an experienced, well-organised LANDSCAPE DESIGNER with proven experience in the industry. You will work directly with clients, our design manager, and our in-house design team. This role is excellent for a driven landscaping professional seeking to advance their career and gain further experience and promotion. 

About the role

We have an opportunity for a landscape architect/designer to join our team.

The successful applicant will collaborate to develop quality design outcomes for our clients across various projects. Strong design skills, from concept design to construction plans, are desired. Proficiency with SketchUp is essential. 

Good plant knowledge is also required.

The right candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and drive to deliver high-calibre work.

The role involves tasks including, but not limited to:

• production of residential landscape concept designs and plans
• construction plans and drawings
• Interpreting site plans
• liaising with clients
• building and council permit applications

  Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• A substantial body of work in residential landscape design
• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture/Design or horticulture.
• Minimum four years of industry experience
• Proficiency with SketchUp or similar 3D modelling programs
• Experience and knowledge in horticulture would be well-regarded
• Experience with pool builds and permit applications would be well-regarded
• Ability to work independently on projects and develop design concepts within a collaborative team environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to adapt quickly, take on a variety of tasks and problem-solve
• a friendly and enthusiastic personality with a willingness to learn
