The Role:
Due to ongoing growth within the company and the sales division, Garden Life Landscapes is looking for an experienced Landscape Estimator to assist our sales team in the pricing and tendering of commercial landscaping and maintenance projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas. The role will also include site visits and compiling hand over documentation for successfully tendered projects.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Creating and Submitting Commercial Tenders
- Estimating support to GLL office and field personnel
- Liaise and build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Tender Negotiations
- Review tender summary
- Follow up future project leads
- Coordinate Tender handovers including handover documents to the operations team
- Maintenance tender register
- Update supplier and subcontractor list
- Complete tender site visits / assessments with commercial BDM
- Review job performance vs/ tender
- Complete quality checks
- Work closely with the Business Development Managers and offer ongoing support
- Project value ranging from $50,000-$350,000.00
Estimating projects in in the following sectors:
- Commercial Landscape Maintenance
- Commercial Soft Landscaping and Construction
- Landscape Developments
Desired Skills and experience:
- 1-4 years + experience in Landscaping, Maintenance & Construction
- A mix of project and estimating experience
- Develop of subcontractor work packages and review
- Experience in contract management and administration
- Hands-on industry experience
