About the role:
The role of Leading Hand – Landscaping and Grounds exists to ensure that the facilities of BBD in Bundaberg are well presented. The position ensures a high level of presentation with all local Bundaberg Brewed Drinks properties. This position will provide external property maintenance services, including creating plans for landscape improvement and extension at our Kay McDuff site, whilst also general maintenance of existing landscape, mowing of site grounds, weed control, water system maintenance, ground cleanliness, to ensure the grounds are safe and presentable at all times.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping
- Chemcert Qualification
- Effective communication
- Excellent time management
- Able to prioritise and organise multiple tasks
- Results Driven
- Hands on role
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience leading a small team
- Outstanding eye for detail
- A flexible approach to work
- Physically fit
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- Current Driver’s licence (manual)
- Current first aid
