Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Laravel/PHP Developer who is passionate about developing robust, scalable, and secure web applications. The job involves working to create the next generation of internal software used to power our business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working independently across all facets of full stack web development, leveraging Laravel to build and enhance our internal systems.
This will be a 6-month contract with the possibility of ongoing full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel.
- Collaborate with others to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and ensure adherence to best practices in software development with minimal supervision.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.
- Work independently, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Laravel/PHP Developer.
- Strong understanding of PHP, Laravel, and MVC architecture..
- Familiarity with database design and management, particularly MySQL.
- Proficient in Git.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of full stack web development principles and best practices.
- Experience with Vue.js, Tailwind, Alpine or Livewire.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Laravel/PHP development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating past projects and achievements.
