Your opportunity
- To assist in the provision of a high-quality linen service to patients/consumers of Mackay Base Hospital.
- To provide an efficient and effective linen service duties, including production, sterilising and distribution of linen to Mackay Base Hospital.
- This position will be responsible for a 7-day week support service, processing and delivering linen.
The Mackay Base Hospital provides a comprehensive healthcare environment that has been designed with a patient friendly approach to layout and location of services. Linen Services launders approximately 80 tonnes of linen monthly. Linen is processed and laundered under strict Australian/New Zealand Standards for Laundry practice.
