LDC (Diploma Not In Charge) Educator's - Angliss Children's Centre

BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Child Care centres in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.  We are one of the largest providers of Early Childhood education and care services in Victoria, delivering quality programs that meet the needs of each child and the wider community.  We pride ourselves on embedding equity, access, cultural relevance, and safety within our programs because every child deserves to be set up for success in life. 

We're currently seeking two Long Day Care (Diploma Not In Charge) Educator's to support the delivery of a quality education program at Angliss Children's Centre.

• POSITION 1
  Full Time
  76 hours per fortnight with RDO
   
• POSITION 2
  Full Time
  76 hours per fortnight with RDO

The position reports to the Room Leader and Centre Co-Ordinator.  You will be required to work co-operatively as a member of a team, and assist with the provision of a high quality educational program for the children based upon the principals and practices of both the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines and the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service as directed by the Room Leader.
• Contribute to the planning cycle, by documenting spontaneous learning experiences and modifications.
• Assist in working with individual and small groups of children.
• Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required.
• Ensure that any child or group of children are adequately supervised and that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect them from any hazard.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid certification.
