About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cabinet makers and will come equipped with extensive knowldge of factory processes. The role will see the succesful applicant help lead a team of assemblers and will be tasked with trouble shooting production timelines and executions. This role will be a hands on role and will require candidates to be fully trade qualified.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of assemblers on the factory floor
- Liase and work closely with the production manager to ensure clean rollout of production plans and schedules
- Be responsible for factory OH&S and have clear knowledge around safety
- Assemble and build custom works and bespoke joinery pieces
- Coordinate toolbox meetings with floor workers
- About You…
- 5+ years Factory Foreman or Assembly experience (Shopfitting is a must)
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor a diverse team.
- Effective delegation, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and interact with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high stress environments
- Strong understanding of joinery fabrication processes, materials, and techniques
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office
- Trade Qualifications are a must
