Lead Carpenter / Site Supervisor (Great rates for the right person)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a dual role with a combination of both: on-the-tools carpentry works and site-supervising / assessing. 

We are offering a long-term position to be part of a dynamic team

Site Supervising / Assessing consists of the following:

• Assess the current scope of works
• Identify any variations required to carry out the scope of works
• Identify missed items or resultant damages
• Write a take-off for materials to be ordered
• Upload the data to the office to be processed

Requirements to be able to fulfil the role of job inspections:

• Kind and courteous demeanour as you will be attending occupied homes with homeowners ranging in age and ethnicity
• Ability to interpret scopes of works
• Ability to meet with Site Supervisors on site and determine methods of repair or assess variations and follow directives
• Punctual and reliable
• Reasonably tech savvy to be able to write out additional scopes of works, notes, variations, take pictures, videos and be able to upload data. 
• Carpentry or Builders Trade qualification (Mandatory)
• Australian driver's license (Mandatory)
• White Card (Mandatory)
• A Site Supervisor's license is advantageous but not necessary

Carpentry works and requirements consist of:

• Internal fix outs
• External cladding on walls and roofs
• Ability to work from scaffold and at heights
• Cabinetry De-fit re-fit
• Framework rebuilds
• Experience in First Fix Carpentry 
• Experience in Second Fix Carpentry
• Proficiency and experience in use of power and hand tools
• Ability to work both as part of the team and alone
• Have own tools
• Carpentry or Builders Trade qualification (Mandatory)
• Australian driver's license (Mandatory)
• White Card (Mandatory)

Remuneration for the role is based on experience.
