Modus Operandi Brewing was founded on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and due to continued growth have opened a new state-of-the art brewery in 2021, in Merewether, Newcastle.
Modus is an award winning, independent, quality-obsessed brewery. We are powered by 100% green energy and all Modus products are cold stored and delivered with a Beer First – No Shortcuts mentality. Recently, NORT non-alcoholic beer, the country’s leading Australian made non-alc beer, was added to the portfolio, fuelling additional growth.
Australia’s Independent Champion Small, Medium and Large Brewery 2014, 2015, 2018. We have an incredible team of passionate and determined people who work hard, but don’t take themselves too seriously.
Our Mona Vale venue is the heart and soul of the Modus Brand and has been trading for nearly 10 strong years. We are looking for a chef to join the team.
It is a cosy kitchen currently trading Wednesday to Sunday's Lunch and dinner. Roster is the main chef plus one casual in busy periods. Great FOH team to work with.
Job task and responsibilities:.
- Menu curation and seasonal menu flips.
- Rostering staff to service levels and budget
- Be a culture leader in our venue.
- Work closely with the FOH staff to ensure a high level of service, including food training and service standards.
- OH&S and food safety compliance. You would be our food safety supervisor.
- Monthly food stocktake and inputting weekly invoices.
