We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart.You will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of energy infrastructure - from developing new power generation projects such as large-scale substations and transmission lines for a variety of industries. The Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) providing exciting opportunities to be a part of the delivery teams for solar, wind, and pumped hydro generation, along with significant transmission infrastructure to enable the new generation.
- Working with the Power Generation team, you will apply your sound knowledge and experience of Civil engineering across projects within the energy space. You will be a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
- You will apply your significant experience in Civil engineering to solving the problems of our clients using an innovative and design-led approach, and continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
- Well-rounded experience (balanced in both technical ability and consulting/managerial skills) and able to lead successful multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large-scale projects on time and to budget.
- Proven experience working on a diverse project portfolio across the energy space for various development types from feasibility, conceptual to detailed design.
- Share your experience of working within Australian engineering codes, standards and practices with your diverse team.
- Use your ability to initiate and build relationships with both your peers and clients to push forward the boundaries of what is possible.
- Adept knowledge in civil design and CAD software packages such as Civil 3D, 12d, Drains, AutoCAD or others.
- Ability to develop and review civil calculations, drawings, reports, technical specifications and other design documentation, including design criteria, project work plan/time schedule, inspection test plans, BoQs and cost estimates.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar
- Design, modelling and team leadership skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all facets of our organisation and with our external stakeholders.
- Experience in a variety of civil design fields, ranging from roads and hydraulics to substations.
