We have an exciting role to be a key member of the Data and Analytics team and be responsible for modelling complex problems, discovering insights, and identifying business opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualisation techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Modeling complex problems and identifying business opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualisation techniques.
- Integrating and preparing large datasets, architecting specialised environments, and communicating results effectively.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights.
- Driving organisation's data maturity by transitioning to predictive analytics.
- Conducting research on advanced techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence for informed decision-making.
- Uncovering insights and implement business solutions.
- Translating business needs into analytics requirements.
- Serving as data science expert, framing meaningful scenarios.
- Identifying relevant data sources and recommend strategies.
- Implementing cutting-edge techniques for efficient analysis.
- Developing and deploying data science tools to support operations.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science, advanced analytics, and/or machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Proficiency in Python, R, and modern data science platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
- Expertise with Smart Meters in terms of data collection is a distinct advantage.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and advanced modeling techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker aligning data initiatives with organisational goals.
- Identifies and drives data-driven improvements.
