The Commercial Analytics team is critical to the ongoing success of the CUB (Carlton& United Breweries) business. We leverage AI and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to develop commercial solutions in partnership with internal Commercial stakeholders.
Reporting into the Senior Commercial Analytics Manager, The Lead Data Scientist - Commercial Analytics will be a key enabler of the team to deliver end-to-end data science models by working closely with key stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver end-to-end AI/ML models to solve commercial problems in a reproducible and pragmatic way for use across Commercials.
- Scope, design and implement models in accordance with Data Science Best Practice and MLOps principles to deliver quality-assured and business-valued intelligence.
- Mange and influence key stakeholders, managing expectations on deliverables and timeline in projects.
- Communicate complex data and algorithm in a consultative and customer-centric approach to stakeholders of all levels.
- Mature coding standards and execute code review as part of model development.
- Contribute to test design, code review, model monitoring, Data Science Best Practice and MLOps
- Identify opportunities to mature our best practice and modelling capability using current and modern data science approaches on our in-house data science platform.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in data science, advanced analytics and/or deep learning in an enterprise-grade MLOps setting.
- Strong programming skills - highly proficient in Python(preferred) and/or R with extensive experience in modernised data science platform
- Strong knowledge and skills with CI/CD (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc).
- Demonstratable expertise in data science domains, such as Machine Learning, advanced analytics and modelling, Deep Learning, modern NLP (including applications of Transfer Learning), Image Processing or Object Detection
- Experience in the full lifecycle of developing, deploying and maintaining machine learning models in Big Data environments.
- Expertise with current Machine Learning and advanced modelling techniques and algorithms
- Strong communication skills to listen and capture business needs to apply data science approach and storytelling skills to relay model approach and outcome to stakeholders of all levels.
